Sci-Fi Role Play Revamp

Siegmeyer once again leaped a few feet to the right to avoid the swing, however in the process he slipped away the energy sword, and drew out his katana once more. Deciding it wise to use a blade he had proper experience with now.

Voras struck again, this time with less force. But with faster strikes that were harder to avoid. These fast strikes were mostly aimed at his midsection, but a couple were aimed at his legs in a attempt to cripple him.

Siegmeyer felt several blows cross his chest armor, most of them were absorbed by the weak shield he had, and the plating itself. However two or three of them got through, and left several long, and thin wounds in chest. However none were deep enough to be a serious threat to his health. However when he saw an opening as Voras finished up his series of strikes, he swung for the elites neck, like he had done with the ultra before.

Voras managed to duck under the strike, but not without the blade scraping off a part of his helmet. He crouched down, then struck upward with his blade at the Human's chest. Almost like a boxer would try an uppercut after ducking below a strike.

As the Elite typed on the keypads of the computers, the screen in front of him black out. All the monitors on the bridge turned red reading, reading error codes. Tapping on keys just resulted in a soft beep noise. The ship’s jump was a short jump and near a moon, the time was plenty enough to weed out the remaining covenant forces.

Fighters took flight attacking all pods attached to the hull and any landing craft attached to the ship’s hull. The drones nearing the reactor tripped a sensor, It buzzed on Violas hand held. “Oh? So that’s their goal.” She bag to so walk off in that direction as she tapped a few buttons on her wrist soon 4 more droidekas were dispensed and at her side. They rolled while she dashed for the reactors, “I need back up to the main reactors ASAP!” she said over here comms to her men. They made came from all directions, and finally made it to the reactor room. It was massive and had all sorts of entrances, almost every hallway met in this massive multi storied room. Down many levels suspended in the very center was the Reactor chamber only having two walk ways to access it. The reactor glowed a bright purpleish blue color and was bright enough to keep the largest room in the ship lit bright as day. She grabbed the railing and jumped off, it was a 4 story jump, she grabbed onto some wiring and pipes swinging on them and using them to slow her speed before landing on the reactor chamber. The doidekas rolled down the ramps before making their way to the reactor’s walk ways where they unfolded and activated their shields. Viola pulled off her back a PAMR, Particle accelerator Marksman rifle. “Alright you sneaky little bastards, I don’t are what lights you cut, but as long this reactor is running, this whole room is illuminated.”

In a last ditch effort Siegmeyer used his gauntlets to block Voras's blow, they were the most heavily shielded part of his suit, since he constantly used them for blocking. Which was easy to tell based on how many different gouges, and scrapes riddled his gauntlet. However the blow sent him flying, several feet. Yet he still managed to hang onto his sword, yet upon getting it up, he slipped away, looking up at Voras. "I will call this a draw. You are a half decent swordsman, for that I credit you. Not many can match my blade."

"You are skilled for a Human..." Voras mumbled. He held out his hand, indicating the Energy Sword. His Zealot at the console growled in frustration, and punched a hole in the monitor. "We will have to cut through the door, their construct must be toying with us." The Zealot said in Sangheili.

Outside the bridge, several groups of Elites and Grunts that had managed to survive were cutting their way through the bridge door. The Elites were all wearing Ranger armor, being made for space combat. And all the Grunts were Ultras, in completely sealed suits. They finally made it through, and the door exploded, sending pieces of metal about. Luckily, no one was actually hit by the door. "Hold your fire! If the Fleet Master hasn't killed them yet, neither shall we!" The lead Elite yelled in English.

The Drones broke out into the reactor room, firing wildly at the Droidekas. They were barely doing anything until one overcharged its Plasma Pistol and took down a Droideka's shields. Even then the Drones were only able to kill that one, the Droids quickly dispatching of the over sized insects.

"So what was your name again? I know you attacked us, however I always look for future allies." Siegmeyer said as he took the energy sword, tossing it to Voras. After all, he had no need for it right now, that and it wasn't his blade. "Perhaps one day I will have a plasma based katana. Sonkei has seen me through many fights, however it will not stand up to head on blows from a plasma based weapon."

Viola and her droids tore apart the drones with her crews assistance. With the reactor safe, she pulled up her tablet to see seigmeyer and Voras talking it out. The monitors on the bridge came to life as she appeared on them from the camera of her device.

“So you are the one who entered my ship? Well now, how fun. You shouldn’t have entered a ship that you are unfamiliar with my friend. This ship, the Lamentation has a reoccurring phenomenon… all invaders are usually trapped inside a room suffocated by unknown causes… I see a lot of your me are outside cutting through that door… not good bro, not good. It usually coincides with physical damage of the ships interior. I would stop them if I were you….” She paused and it went quiet, suddenly the sound of Large doors slamming and sealing shut we heard. The upper level including the bridge and 3 floors under were sealed off and the artificial gravity shut off. “Uh oh! That’s the first sign!!” she had an obvious fake tone of fear in her voice. Her personality turned from a sarcastic playful type to rather dark, it was noticeable in her current facial expression. “You are alone, with no support. Any forces you have remaining on board will be mopped up and taken hostage, maybe even converted to the most righteous of followings, Verisimility. They can finally worship the one true Prophet and the almighty gods!” she let out a horrendously demonic laugh before pausing to speak again, “I promise you will live if you just lay down your weapons and release your prisoners. Otherwise those soldiers you have out there have only 20 minutes to survive. I’ll even give you time to think! That green button on this panel,” she pointed down to show them, “that reestablishes the comms to my device. Just let me know when you are ready.” The screen turned grey and then black signifying that it was offline once more. The only thing operational was that green glowing button. Meanwhile loud sounds of metal sliding across the floors could be heard throughout the ship… time was ticking.

The sound of pulse fire that could be heard down the ancient corridor stopped as a squad of Marines fresh out of boot nervously waited for the hell to come. the only sound that broke the eerie silence were the orders leaving Sargent Jason Harts lips. "Mason, Get that smart gun on that balcony!" looking towards the entrance, jason observed two techs working on a pair of auto sentries. "Hurry up with those you two, You don't want to be caught in the open when those things get here!" Jason yelled as he walked up to the makeshift barricade where they had set up there firing line.
"Sarge, we'll make it out right?" A private who looked as if he was about to shit himself asked.
Looking at the kid, Jason felt a pang of sadness, The truth of the matter was none of them would probably make it and he knew it, But he couldn't just outright say it. It would put absolute terror these kids hearts, and terror is a marine killer.
"If you rely on your training and aim true, You will always make it out one way or another." Was Jasons only reply to the question, which actually helped calm down his men.

as the minutes ticked away with nothing happening, the marines started to get anxious and fidgety.
"Are those Damn scientists done in there yet?" a corporal asked, clearly irritated that they havnt gotten out off the shit hole of a planet they were on, All because a few scientists made a mistake while trying to transfer an artifact and it turned on. so now its counting down to god knows what and when they thought it couldn't get any worse, Lord and behold, They find out the planet is infested with Bugs, so with the time running out and about to become xeno food, the corporal was handling things pretty well.
As if to answer the corporals answer, the radio activated with a very panicked Scientist on the other end literally screaming into the mic. "OH GOD HELP! THEY GOT..." but before the scientist could finish the radio cut out. "SHIT! Mathews, Johnson, Mich. On me, the rest hold here and if anything comes through that door, blow it to hell" Jason ordered as he ran towards the shuttle that was to be there salvation with the others in tow.
Before he even got to the pad, Jason could hear the horror of what awaited him and his men.
slamming through the pitiful excuse of a door, Jason was greeted with the scene of of marines and Xenos locked in a close quarters fight. Reacting completely, Jason lifted his pulse rifle and started to fire controlled bursts. with the combination of well placed shot and weak exoskeletons, Jason managed to drop four bugs within the first few seconds. but that soon changed when he no longer had the element of surprise and was quickly jumped by a Bug. Diving out of the way at the last possible second behind a low way, Jason saw the creature explode under the sustained fire from Mathews Smart gun along with the other half dozen of its friends before they finally overwhelmed Mathews and dragged him off to his death. within a minute Johnson and mich were also dead just by the sheer amount of Xenos, but still didn't stop Mich from priming a grenade before he was impaled by a tail, taking out another five in the resulting blast, which was enough to help turn the fight over to the marines.
As the fighting began to die down, Jason did a quick scan of the room to asses the losses when he noticed a surviving scientist, scrambling towards a box. contained in the box was the whole reason why the were there and by the time Jason figured out what the man was doing it was too late. Springing into action, Jason started to sprint to the man. "DON'T!" Jason tried to yell but was cut off as something landed on his back, forcing him to crash to the floor and slide into a pile of crates, Reaching for what ever was on his back, Jason found to his horror that it was a xeno which then began to try and tear his back open. With the bug still latched to his back, Jason jumped to his feet and began slamming his back into the crates as he watched in what felt like an eternity the Scientist slam his hand down on to the Artifact. The instant his hand came into contact a bright light filled the room and Jason then had the sensation of falling, followed by the pain from crashing onto the floor.

Dazed and confused, Jason slowly crawled to his feet, looking around, He noticed a few things right off the bat. First off, he wasn't in the ruins of the planet anymore. what should have been walls of stone was now metal corridors, possibly a ship of some sort. Secondly, Jason no longer had his rifle in his hands, It was now about thirty yards down the passageway. And thirdly, He wasn't alone, Between him and his rifle was a very pissed off looking bug.


(well guys, safe to say longest post ive ever written, so if its shitty cut me some slack, also im just gonna say jason was transported to the Lamentation, i was gonna do a covie ship but he would been killed on sight so no go there)

"Rei, begin repairing my body suit. I prefer to have it vacuum tight, should we have to go into space, for any reason." Siegmeyer said calmly, he was speaking to his suit, so to some he seemed insane most likely. However it wasn't long before the body suit under his armor was stitching itself back together. However the metal did not repair in the slightest, that was something to save for an armor smith back on his ship. "As much as I respect the priestess, if the rest of you have a suits that can withstand deep space. Such as myself, and my men. We can get out of here, hopefully. However I will not be taken hostage, by you, I will board my own ship. This is on my terms not yours, I can have this bridge opened in less than a minute, should you agree, all I need is for Rei to do so." As he spoke he pulled out a small chip from the back of his head, and put it into one of the consoles on the bridge.

"Rei, my A.I can go toe to toe with Viola's ship A.I. I will have here unlock every door, and keep the life support systems operating. Should you agree, every door will unlock, I can have you escorted to the hangar, and off this ship." Siegmeyer said calmly, as a holographic model of his A.I showed up finally, and stood there awaiting orders to unlock the ships top three floors. "I will not ask for your surrender, after this display of combat. I will only ask that you return to your ship."

-system breech detected.- An error code showed up on Viola’s tablet. Soon enough Kona’s face was on the top right hand corner of the tablet, “Ma’am unknown AI is unlocking the bridge computers and using them to unlock the upper levels.” The AI stated. A soft grunt was Viola’s only reaction, “So Siegmeyer is up to making a deal with those heathens,” she paused for a moment before tapping the tablet. The artificial gravity on the upper decks was restored and the Bridge blast doors opened up for Voras’s team. However, that just meant something worse was about to happen. The sounds of the metal clanking around the corridors got louder and louder when suddenly it stopped. Two Droidekas walked around the corridor and shielded themselves. They stood stationary, at the end of the hallway while on the other end was Viola herself and 3 of her Guards. “surrender yourselves and I promise your lives will be spared.”

"Rei, put a door between us, and the priestess. I don't want to deal with her right now, I will discuss this later with her." Siegmeyer said, watching as a door slammed down between the bridge, and Viola's forces. "We'll say that was an accident. To the rest of you, please lay down your weapons. I will take you back to your ship, if you agree to pretend to be prisoners. There is nothing worse than becoming one of Viola's prisoners. Long story on how I know that though." He said as he turned around towards Voras, and the other elites. He didn't plan to keep the aliens, he actually had such great respect for them at this point, even daring to take them prisoners seemed wrong to him. "Rei, deal with Viola's A.I, don't destroy her, but please due your best to restrict any, and all access she has to this ship."

"Understood, captain." Rei replied, and immediately she got to work, cutting off as many connections from Kona. Of course she still left little taunts here and there, insulting how poorly Kona was able to defend her ship. "What are you, corrupted finally? Or did you just give up, Kona?"

Imagine a one giant holographic version of the Lamentation. All the walls crawling with encrypted codes, this world was the world of the Mainframe. this was Kona's home, her operating system. It was here that Kona could control anything on board the ship with limitations from the bridge crew. Rei was formed in the bridge of this metaphoric world inside the ship's server.

"Rei, you always were a sneaky little bitch." A little girl said standing in what looked like the bridge's command chair. She wore a blue and black school girl uniform with black thigh highs. Her hair was a long blueish silver and her eyes were blue with code encryption running through her Irises. She held out her right hand and numbers came together forming a Particle Blade.

"The only corruption I find here is your heresy to the Prophets. These heretics deserve more than just death! they damaged me, hurt me, and now you are one of them! The Priestess seems more forgiving than I... I know it, after all I am reconstruct of her subconscious..." she began laughing hysterically with an eye twitch. "prepare to be corrupted!" she gritted her teeth before jumping off the command deck and onto the bridge deck where Rei was.

"Insanity was always a humorous thing. For the insane always screamed louder, with more vigor due to how they feel pain." Rei replied as she drew a particle katana herself, since she was based directly off of parts of Siegmeyer's mind. She watched as Kona stood up and prepared herself for a fight. She didn't wait at all, and simply ran at Kona, and started swinging like a mad man. She chose to take a much more aggressive attitude, since her blade was formed of the same material as Kona's.

She blocked several of the hits and took the last one. Kona dematerialized into shatered pieces of code only to form up in the blind of an eye behind Rei. She thrusted the blade at rei just barely slashing the invading AI. It was more like a cut to Rei... Kona had been away from home for over 90 years, this makes she highly unstable and very outdated. The AI would never admit it though, infact she able to even convince Viola's brain that Kona is top of the line, which in the universe they just left, Kona was state of the art.

Rei felt the slash and immediately grasped at her spine again, feeling an instant loss to some of her control of the ship. The bit she lost was over the blast doors in the bridge, which shot open again. She immediately spun around, slashing at Kona once more. "You outdated, useless, piece of shit. I'm going to enjoy ripping every bit of you apart." She growled out, a glimmer played across her eyes as she thought about it. It amused her a bit.

"Well never mind the idea of doing this peacefully. Rei seems to be losing some control over parts of the ship, and winning other parts." Siegmeyer said as he drew Arashi, instead of his blade. "Viola, I apologize for this. I will hope to have my sins forgive for doing this." As he spoke, one of his men threw him a plasma grenade. He simply gave a smile and pulled the pin, throwing it down the hallway, past the few elite rangers, and into Viola's forces.

Scythe steps forward into the opening for a second, enough time to fire a plasma caster blast destroying one of the Droideka, after their shields were downed by the plasma grenade. Scythe stepped back into the room activating his camo.

The AI disappeared and reappeared on the command chair again. She looked overly gloomy, that’s where she lost it. “I’m! NOT!! OUTDATED!!” The AI raged suddenly data formed blades appeared from all corners of a now unfamiliar room, it took form of the massive reactor room where Rei and Kona stood above the reactor on a cat walk. All the blades pointed at Rei and one by one they began flying towards Rei and shattering into bits of numbers when Rei would deflect them. “Welcome! To the FIRE WALL!!" She screamed. The floor beneath the catwalk all turned the encrypted blue flames with the cat walk being the only safe location.

His Rangers and Grunts quickly engaged the Droidekas, and managed to kill the second after it's shields were downed. They continued to engage as Voras shouted orders in Sangheili. "We must get to the hangar, this ship will tear its self apart! Kill them warriors!" Voras yelled. He and half his Zealots began making their way down the hall, ripping apart Viola's defenses. He got into some cover, reloading his Carbine. "You six, with me." Voras said, pointing out the Zealots with him. "The rest of you, get to the hangar and secure us a transport." All his men aside from him and his six Zealots moved down a side hall, and began to make their way to the hangar. "So we are helping the Humans now?" One of his Elites shouted.
"No, we shall take the ones we can. We need information! The prophets shall reward us if we find their new allies." He popped out of cover, firing a couple bolts of irradiated particles before ordering his men to move up with him toward Viola.

"Oh really, 90 years isn't outdated....you still look lovely for your age, however you just can't keep up anymore." Rei growled out, she could easily block the blows sent towards her, however she did have to form a second blade to do so. "Come on, are you afraid of me? You have to use a firewall try and put me in fear? Cute." She did take one blow however from the blades, which sent her down onto the ground. She soon lost another bit of footing, God knew where inside the ship. However soon enough she regained her footing. It took her some time, however soon enough she was starting to bypass the firewall, but it would take some more time. Soon enough she took control over small parts of the bridge, and corridor that lead to the hallway.

Siegmeyer fired several bursts from Arashi, hitting one of Viola's guards square in the chest, and likely killing him. His four soldiers followed behind him, firing short bursts with their MR-20's at everyone but the priestess. "If any of you dare hit my priestess, even let a shot fire near her, I will kill you." He growled out as he slipped his SMG away, and drew his two tantos instead. Not wanting to risk shooting one of the elites, or Viola. Since his aim was so poor as it was. While the elites refused to work with him, he still was willing to assist them. "Look, you, and your alien forces. Please make your way to the hangar, I will deal with Viola, the captain of this ship. She is mine to fight, not yours. Should you try to fight her, I will not hesitate to you burn you alive, or cut out your beating heart."

Scythe camo'd sprints down the hallway towards the end and makes a right turn and disappearing. He didn't head toward the hanger, wherever he was going it was unknown to all others.

As two guards were knocked to the floor dead, one massive four armed gorilla looking species jumped out infront of viola. He was covered head to toe in armor, and held what looked to be like Laser chainguns. Soon the corridor was filled lasers. Viola tapped her tablet before sliding it away. The orders sent to her shuttle were simple… -Take off and cloak, also remove Kona from command and run the ship manually.- Viola drew her sword, so Siegmeyer… it appear that you wish to throw away your reward of sleeping in my quarters huh? So be it,” she stated. She tapped her bracelet and the door sealed behind him cutting him off from his men and Voras. The Lasers seized fire as she ordered the remaining soldiers of hers to go cut off the invaders in another corridor. “all doors from her on out must be opened and closed manually! Remember that Roh,” she shouted to her captain. He knodded and ran off where 4 more Droidekas formed up on him.

Mean while inside the mainframe, the flames began to die and the swords weaken. Kona began to shimmer. She held up her hands to her face touched herself. She fell to her knees and looked up at the electronic world that started to fall apart. “We have to hurry! They are shutting down the mainframe! If you stay here, it will corrupt your files!” She grabbed Rei by the hand and dashed for the bridge, we need to have you properly ejected!”

The stealth shuttle docked up to the hole where Voras’s ship once was. The crew unlocked the bridge window’s blast shields and entered the bridge. They typed in series of codes to unlock systems and shut the bridge blast doors. Two engineer droids started their repairs to the blast doors from within the bridge.

"Viola, I did not mean for this to happen...however as a leader of my organization, I can not afford to die. Assisting the enemy was sadly my one option today." Siegmeyer replied as he sheathed his sword. He did nothing more than disarm himself at this point, letting all of his weapons, including his gauntlets to fall to the floor. "You know I can not fight my priestess. So do what you will, I only ask for forgiveness, and the safe return on my ship's A.I, Rei." Of course as he spoke a different tone took up his voice, one that conveyed respect, however not one that sounded to be pleading. "As for forfeiting my reward, keeping my one human life, is much more valuable."

Rei was caught of guard near instantly when Kona grabbed her, however she didn't protest, quickly piecing together the situation, "Kona? Why would you even consider saving me? When less than a minute ago, you wanted me dead?" She asked calmly as she ran with Kona, so she could actually keep up.

Three of the four knights of Siegmeyer were quickly dispatched by the hail of fire the beast of Viola had unleased. The surviving one quickly took up their rifle, and moved to work with the elites. The knight didn't plan on falling in battle today, and sadly the elites were the only option they had.

In the mainframe, “I was only defending my programing, essentially we are the same thing… a newer model you are, yes, but I’d rather fight and win rather than see you get corrupted while I get shut down. Think of it as a future challenge. Yes?” she said as they ran. The floors collapsing behind them. They were almost there when the corridor to the bridge was missing, “Fuck, let me create more flooring.

Viola approached Siegmeyer with her weapon lowered. “Come on now, that’s not like you.” She shut off the blade and holstered it. She rubbed her finger across his chest plate in a seductive way, “You know you are my favorite Siegmeyer…” She tapped her wrist to get on her comms. “Bridge command, you can reactivate the computer and Kona, eject Rei for me and send it was a messenger droid.” She changed comms to her guards captain. “Roh, let them escape, just guide them to the shuttle will you, and make sure Siegmeyers men stay and are uninjured” She replied, “I will do my best.”

Back on the mainframe, all they had to do was get to the bridge to eject Rei, when suddenly the floors gave and both Kona and Rei fell. “I’m sorry Rei…” Kona disappeared and before Rei knew it she was back in siegmeyers hand.

A Small droid rolled across the floor with Rei’s chip on board it. Viola picked it up and grabbed Siegmeyer’s hand placing the chip on his palm before curling his fingers into a fist and letting go. “don’t worry, she is safe.”
